Pediatric dentistry
We approach our youngest patients with particular care and attention, trying to create a fond memory of their first visit to the dentist. It is recommended the first visit to the dentist happens when the first deciduous teeth appear, primarily to get to know the atmosphere of a dental practice and to give instructions to the parents on how to brush properly, what foods to avoid and how to prevent caries in early age. This way we give the child enough time to meet the staff and ambiance of a dental practice, which might incite fear and uneasiness and create a negative attitude toward dentists, and which also might make future treatments more difficult.
With the procedures of fluoridation and sealing of teeth, which are completely painless for the child, a good cooperation
and a relationship of trust are established between the child and the dentist.
